Mandated implementing institutions of the Environment for Europe process


The 2007 Belgrade Ministerial Declaration provided for direct mandates to the following institutions to implement work under the Environment for Europe process (mandated "implementing institutions" are listed below in alphabetical order):

  • EAP Task Force (with its Secretariat at OECD)
  • European Environment Agency (EEA)
  • Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)
  • Bodies established under the Pan-European Biological and Landscape Diversity Strategy (PEBLDS)
  • Regional Environmental Centers (RECs)
  • United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)
  • United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)
