Conference participation

Participation in the 2007 Belgrade Ministerial Conference

Participation in the Belgrade Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference is possible as follows:

Government delegations: Government delegations may include up to 10 persons. Deadline for registration: 01 July, 2007.
Intergovernmental delegations and other international organizations involved in Environment for Europe activities: deadline for registration: 01 July, 2007.
Non governmental organizations: Up to 200 NGO representatives may attend the Conference’s Roundtable on Biodiversity and up to 75 representatives may be present at any given time at all official sessions. Registration: Interested NGOs should contact the European ECO-Forum, who is organizing the nomination process and forming the NGOs delegation.
Major groups as defined in Agenda 21 (women, children and youth organizations; indigenous people’s groups; local authorities; workers and trade unions; business and industry; scientific and technological societies; farmers unions), whose activities have direct relevance to the conference agenda. Registration: completed registration form needs to be sent to the UNECE Secretariat by 01 July, 2007.
Media workers should submit an accreditation form directly to the secretariat of the host country. Registration Deadline: 01 September, 2007.
